This necklace design has been a favorite over the last few years. It's sweet and simple, but still holds a lot of character. I've made the backplate with reclaimed silver. I melt down scraps into a blob and then hammer the blob flat and run it through my rolling mill many, many times to finally get it to the thickness I'm looking for. It's got some tiny nicks and scratches on it to remind you of where it's come from.
