Here are a few FAQ. If this still leaves you scratching your head, feel free to send me a message in the "contact" section.
Q: Where do you ship from? What service do you use and how long should I expect it to take to arrive?
A: My home base is rural SW Colorado so unless I am traveling, that is where all my pieces will ship out of. I use USPS First Class mail which usually takes about 3 business days (for domestic addresses) and provides tracking information that I will send to you. Due to living 40 minutes outside of town, I make one trip to the post office a week, so you can expect your order to ship out within a week of purchase.
Q: Do I ship internationally?
A: Short answer- yes. At checkout when you put in your shipping address it will automatically calculate the shipping costs for you and add it to your total. Each country varies in its costs, although most countries in Europe that I've shipped to cost about $15 USD. Unfortunately, I am not able to give you exact shipping costs beforehand. Also, please note that each country also has it's own customs process and you may be charged a custom's fee. Again, this is different for every country, so I recommend doing some research on your own country before you purchase.
Q: What is my lost/missing package policy?
A: Once I have properly packaged, addressed and shipped your item, I am no longer responsible for the package. Unfortunately, once it has been scanned into USPS, I have no control over the shipping process and cannot offer refunds or replacements of items. Please consider buying insurance for your package at checkout if you'd like to take extra precaution in your package's safe arrival.
Q: How will my jewelry arrive?
A: In my efforts to care for our earth, I use 100% earth-friendly, recycled and recyclable materials to package and ship your orders. You will find your pieces in brown, kraft boxes with a hemp cord bowed at the top. I include a hand-written thank you note (on recycled paper!) and the shipping envelopes are made from recycled materials and can even be used again, if you are careful when you open them. To further save paper, I do not include a packing slip, but you will have access to your receipt through the confirmation email you receive at purchase.
Q: How do I care for my jewelry?
A: The best way to clean your jewelry is to use a clean, soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently remove fingerprints, dirt, residue, and oils. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or jewelry cleaners as these can damage the surface of the stone or remove the patina on your piece.
Q: What is your return/exchange policy?
A: I gladly accept *most* returns within a certain timeframe. Please be sure to:
- Contact me within 3 days of the delivery of your piece with reason for return.
- Returns must be shipped back within 7 days of delivery. Pieces must be in their original condition and packaging in order to receive a refund.
- Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Custom pieces CANNOT be returned or exchanged.
* Please note that I cannot accept a return for a ring due to the purchase of the wrong size. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have properly sized your finger and are purchasing the correct size.
