These owl talons were my first time attempting to sand cast! Sand casting required learning an entirely new skill that I've been wanted to learn for many years now. The owl talon came from an owl that was found dead on the side of the road and was gifted to me by a friend. It's pretty remarkable to make a replica of the talon in silver with so much detail! I've added one of my favorite stones, Angel Wing Variscite, to make it extra special. Together they make a powerful piece.
