I grew up with grand ol' oak trees all around me. Now I live in the high desert and find that the shrubby gamble oak, though very different but the trees I grew up with, still hold a lot of that oak character I enjoy so much. Their leaves are particularly special in their shape...and this stone looks like it has captured one perfectly within it. The colors hold the richness of this season which embody the reciprocity with the earth as the leaves drop to the ground to create compost for the next year of growth. It's a grounding ring that helps you feel your feet on the ground.

Please note: Each piece is handcrafted with my own two hands. This means each piece is unique and each carries their own “imperfections”. That being said, each piece is crafted with care and intention with excellent crafts(wo)manship. They are built to last and they are built to be lived in, fully.
